Digital Assistance
We have implemented a Digital Assistant chat window to support clients through COVID-19 by providing answers to your visa, citizenship and COVID19 border questions. The Digital Assistant will work on both IOS and Android devices. We expect the Digital Assistant will make it easier and faster for you to find the information you need on our website.
We would appreciate your help, by using the Digital Assistant to ask your visa, citizenship and border questions and search for information. It uses Artificial Intelligence-based software to enable it to ‘learn’, and provide the best answers based on the words contained in the question.
It’s useful that you keep using it even if it is unable to answer your first question. It will improve with each interaction and will get better at understanding and answering questions.
We are able to note any questions you ask that it is unable to answer, and will use this information when we add or update the Digital Assistant. You can also provide any feedback on the Digital Assistant by clicking on the blue feedback tab located at the bottom of the screen.
You can access the Digital Assistant from the bottom right hand side of the screen. To open a chat window simply click on the Digital Assistant tab.
You can ask the Digital Assistant any question. If it can’t give you an answer, it will:
- ask you to rephrase your question
- suggest topics you may be asking about
- tell you that it is unable to answer your question as it’s still learning.
